Melissa was born and raised in Santa Cruz and went to Santa Cruz Montessori for one year when she was about five years old. Throughout high school, college and right out of college she worked with kids babysitting and at different camps. She received her AMI Elementary Diploma in Minnesota and her Masters in Education from Loyola University Maryland. She has been working at SCM since 2005 and loves this community. She enjoys working with the students and seeing them learn and grow.
