Martina was born and raised in the Czech Republic. She studied at a vocational school of construction in the Czech Republic and graduated in 1993. Before moving to California Martina lived in London to learn English. She received Early Childhood Education in California in 2007 and started to work as a preschool teacher at the Neighborhood Christian Center in Santa Clara. Martina was introduced to Montessori in 2015, when moved to the Santa Cruz area. She guided a toddler community from 2015 to 2019, then worked in Primary and completed her AMS Primary training in 2020.

Martina began working for SCM in 2021 as an assistant teacher in the Young Children’s Community. In 2022 she moved to the Monarch Class and began her AMI Primary Training through Montessori Northwest.

Martina is a mother to two beautiful children. She loves to travel and has lived in London and with family in Turkey. She enjoys hiking in the redwoods, paddle boarding, playing tennis, and snowboarding.
