Dalila was born and raised in Tepoztlan Morelos, Mexico. She went to Watsonville High School, Cabrillo College, MTEC/San Francisco for her AMC.

She has been an assistant in the Monarch Class for 24 years and is also the Spanish Guide for the elementary classes. She enjoys working with children because they represent hope and the future to her and she appreciates the opportunity to be a service to her community.
