Educating for Peace

Elementary Open House and Information Night: Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Santa Cruz Montessori would like to welcome prospective parents of children ages 3-12 to learn more about our school. Please join the director and teachers for an introduction to the school. Parents will meet the faculty, learn about the curriculum, and visit the Montessori classrooms. Teachers will make short presentations about their classrooms, and prospective parents will be encouraged to ask questions.

Wednesday, January 20th, 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Main Campus, 6230 Soquel Drive, off Park Avenue in Aptos.

Tours

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. No appointment is necessary to come in to receive a brochure and schedule a time for a tour. To schedule an appointment for a tour, contact us at 831-476-1646, in person, or via e-mail at .

Tours are given on Wednesday mornings by appointment, and are from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Tours are regularly scheduled between mid-October and continue through the end of May. Summer tours are available by special arrangement.

Prospective parents come on the tour without their children at their initial visit, to see all the levels of the school from the Young Children's Community through the Junior High. You will have an opportunity to see the children at work at each level, to hear more about the school's history and philosophy, and to have your questions answered.

Join Romney Dunbar for a streaming video tour of Santa Cruz Montessori. See the children at work and play, learn about the program from some of our teachers, and get a glimpse of the classrooms in this informative presentation.
